Job description

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions has partnered with a PREMIER client located in Gladwin, MI. Weare seeking qualified candidates to fill Packer/Grinder positions.
Job Type: Full time/Entry Level
Pay: $15.00-$16.00/hr.
Shifts are 12 hours and are on a 3 day on and 3 days off rotation.Overtime is available. We have 7a-7p, and 7p-7a shifts available.
Packer/Grinder Job Summary:
  • Preparing product for packing
  • Properly wrap, band, and label product for shipping
  • Loading scrap plastic into grinders
  • Completion of hourly cold/hot & quality checks, including relevant paperwork
  • Operation of pallet jacks
  • Maintain a work area that is orderly, and free of debris
  • Perform all duties as assigned by supervisor
Packer/Grinder Qualifications:
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, stand and walk for up to 12 hours
  • Able to lift & maneuver bulky sheets of plastic weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Able to work (12) hours in a hot environment
  • The ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16"), & micrometer (.000) is desired, but client will train the right candidates.
