REPORTS TO: Packer

SHIFT DAYS/HOURS: 10 hr. shifts (Monday-Thursday) 7:00 am- 5:00 pm) Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals for the position of Packing Entry Level Packing. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Packing department, responsible for ensuring that high-quality aluminum extrusion products are packed efficiently and securely for shipment.

THINGS YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Pack aluminum extrusion products with precision, following all company packing standards.

  • Apply labels accurately and complete all required packing documentation.

  • Work closely with team members to ensure products are packed on time.

  • Examine packing materials for quality and promptly report any concerns to supervisors. Following all safety protocols to ensure a safe working area for yourself and coworkers.

  • Use measuring tools when required to verify part lengths and confirm compliance with work order requirements and Bonnell Aluminum quality standards.

  • Remain aware of jobrelated hazards, follow all safety policies and procedures, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including adherence to lockout/tagout practices when necessary.

  • Receive and apply feedback from the Team Leader to continuously improve load quality, accuracy, and overall safety standards.

  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by removing debris, organizing racks, and keeping walkpaths clear.

  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Line Leaders, and coworkers while immediately reporting any quality issues, equipment concerns, or safety hazards-helping maintain a safe, supportive, and teamfocused work environment.

THINGS YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing and labeling.

  • Basic understanding of shipping processes and procedures (preferred but not required).

  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • A willingness to learn, take direction, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Ability to pass a company background check and drug screen.

WORK ENVIRONMENT | PHSYCIAL DEMANDS

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and communicate by talking or hearing.

  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.

  • Required to work in an environment with loud noise levels and without air conditioning.

  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 30-50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move items over 100 pounds with partner.
