Job description

The Sr VDI Admin/Engineer is responsible for assisting with the deployment of a new Virtual Desktop environment built on VMware Horizon and VCE infrastructure.
This role is Work From Home (Eastern Time), and open to C2C & 1099
Education
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related experience
Minimum Knowledge & Experience
  • 6 years of experience provisioning, installing, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server and VMware
  • 6 years of experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory domains, VMware vSphere, and VMware Horizon.
  • Experience using system monitoring tools
  • 3-4 years experience with VMware Horizon View and vCenter
  • Ability to perform analysis with limited supervision
  • Ability to create system diagrams and documentation.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are required

• Assist in building user profiles and app stacks
• Administer UEM and App Manager
• Provide rollout and production support to end users
• Document as-built configurations
• Other duties and projects as assigned
