Radiation Hardened Defense Microelectronics Technical Manager
The Opportunity:
Apply engineering skills to transform the Microelectronics industry and enable government organizations to design, fabricate, and field secure and t rus tworthy systems that build from high integrity Radiation Hardened ( Rad Hard ) microelectronics. Work with a range of experts spanning the strategy and te chn ology domain to enable secure and t rus ted access to state-of-the-art microelectronics te chn ologies. Lead te chn ical development and services efforts in support of US Government Microelectronics customers. Establish t rus ted te chn ical relationships and situational awareness of microelectronics needs and requirements. Identify opportunities to develop and provide te chn ical capabilities to make an impact on U.S. Government missions. Provide people leadership and mentorship in te chn ical areas, as well as programmatic and finan cia l oversight of ongoing tasks.

You Have:
  • 15+ years of experience with supporting US Government community stakeholders in Rad Hard microelectronics te chn ologies, program strategy, and utilization of microelectronics devices, including radiation effects design and test
  • Experience in advising, customer service, and supporting a client mission over time
  • Experience with semic ond uctor fabrication te chn ologies, semic ond uctor processes, T rus ted and State of the Art processes, or respective vendors
  • Knowledge of defense and Government microelectronics needs and requirements, trends of microelectronics device usage within the community, and various stakeholder roles, responsibilities, and objectives within the microelectronics domain
  • Ability to direct te chn ical expertise supporting Rad Hard Defense Microelectronics customers and build te chn ical relationships, identify opportunities for support, and deliver excellence in te chn ical development projects
  • Ability to deliver success in te chn ical business development for U.S. Government microelectronics customers
  • Ability to perform te chn ical assessments of microelectronics te chn ologies, develop te chn ology trends and reports, and make key recommendations to the client
  • Ability to craft effective and functional strategies for microelectronics access that meet the needs of multiple agencies and stakeholders
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with providing te chn ical support to senior DoD program managers on high-risk, high-reward projects within the Rad Hard microelectronics domain
  • Experience with leading te chn ical teams and projects, with end-to-end people, project, and te chn ical management
  • Ability to build a business development pipeline in the microelectronics area
  • Master's degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or Nuclear Physics preferred ; Doctorate degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or Nuclear Physics a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
