Job description

Our valued client is seeking multiple software engineers for a contract engagement with the possibility of extension or full-time work. This position includes PTO, holiday pay, medical, dental, vision, and 401 (k) benefits. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience and be able to bridge the gap between a legacy .NET system and the new Java/Python future.


This role requires you to reside in the Denver Metro area and is hybrid, with four days in the office and one day from home. We are not accepting C2C candidates at this time.


Role Overview: Join a strategic on-site team transitioning a critical transportation system from offshore to local development. You will support a complex application that manages real-time trip creation and multi-agency.

Technical Requirements:


  • Primary: Strong proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.


  • Secondary: Experience with Java is highly preferred for the upcoming application rewrite.


  • Legacy/Integration: Familiarity with C# and .NET to navigate and transition legacy code.


  • Key Responsibilities: Participate in a major application rewrite while ensuring the current tolling system (including DMV lookups and collection workflows) remains operational.


The starting hourly rate for this position is $60/hour.
