Position Overview

Intimate Bond Counseling Center is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our telehealth practice. In this full-time role, you will provide remote therapeutic services that aim to improve the emotional and relational well-being of our clients. Your expertise will be utilized to develop individualized treatment plans, facilitate engaging therapy sessions, and support clients in overcoming personal and relational challenges from the comfort of their homes.

Work Environment

This role is structured as a remote position, allowing for flexibility and the convenience of working from home. You will engage with clients through secure telehealth platforms, ensuring that every session is confidential and professional. Our outpatient focus allows us to streamline processes and cater to a diverse clientele, enhancing accessibility and promoting mental health among individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one and family therapy sessions with clients using telehealth technology, ensuring comfort and confidentiality.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to address each client's unique needs and goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, session notes, and treatment updates in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support, helping clients navigate emergencies or significant life challenges as they arise.
  • Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to coordinate care, share insights, and enhance holistic treatment for clients.
  • Stay informed of industry developments, attending training sessions or workshops as needed to ensure compliance with best practices and continuing education.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population struggling with various issues, including relationship conflicts, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Your skills and compassion will be essential in fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance, where clients feel empowered to explore their feelings, behaviors, and relationships without judgment.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Valid and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California.
  • Demonstrated experience providing therapy services remotely, utilizing telehealth platforms efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, crucial for managing a caseload effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of clinical experience as a licensed therapist in a similar setting.
  • Familiarity with specific treatment modalities such as CBT, EMDR, or family systems therapy.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including multicultural communities.
Compensation and Benefits
