Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify the mental health and substance abuse needs of clients, employing standardized assessment tools while also integrating personal insights.
• Collaboratively develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive assessment findings, ensuring that each client has a roadmap to better mental health.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address various clinical concerns.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure compliance and facilitate continuity of care.
• Engage with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and share insights, actively participating in case reviews and treatment planning meetings to enhance client outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, utilizing conflict de-escalation techniques and immediate therapeutic strategies to address urgent client issues.
• Continuously review current trends, research, and best practices in mental health and substance abuse treatments, integrating this knowledge into your practice to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Intimate Bond Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
