Job description

About this role

We are looking for an Intake Attorney with 1+ years of personal injury experience to serve as the first attorney touchpoint for prospective clients, evaluating complex cases and closing sign-ups for a fast-growing plaintiff PI firm in Los Angeles. This is a brand-new role where you'll lead and manage the intake team, combining legal expertise with a consultative sales approach.

What will you be doing?

  • Evaluating complex personal injury cases (90%+ MVA) that require attorney-level judgment to determine viability
  • Closing prospective clients on retaining the firm — acting as the trusted first legal contact
  • Managing and mentoring a team of 6-7 intake specialists, answering their questions and guiding decision-making
  • Applying PI litigation knowledge to assess case value and foresee outcomes from the initial intake stage
  • Collaborating directly with founding partners to refine intake processes and hit sign-up targets

Key Requirements

  • Active California Bar license in good standing
  • Personal injury experience as a practicing attorney (1+ years preferred; strong PI background with 6+ months considered)
  • Spanish-speaking ability required
  • Must work full-time in-office at the LA headquarters — no remote flexibility
  • Warm, team-oriented personality with strong client communication skills and a closer's mentality

Role details: 

Full-Time Position

Salary: $130K - $180K (On Target Earnings: $150K - $250K -Based on Performance)

Equity: This role does not include equity.

On-site work policy: 5 days in-office in Los Angeles, CA
