Global Green USA is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Donor Engagement & Operations Administrator for its Community Action Center in New Orleans.
Preferably interested in those with a strong background in executive or administrative management, fundraising, and sustainable development located near the Lower Ninth Warth Neighbourhood in New Orleans.
The main project will Green Affordable Housing & Community Development as it relates to DEI and environmental justice.

Global Green's Community & Climate Action Center serves as a model for climate resilience within both New Orleans, and other cities around the globe. The CCAC is a hub for educational opportunities with a focus on climate change, environmental equity and coastal resilience. It is located in the Holy Cross neighborhood of New Orleans' Lower 9th Ward, and is an ideal venue for sharing mitigation and adaptation strategies for climate impacts with coastal communities along the Gulf - and worldwide - as well as with other geographies threatened by global warming. The CCAC is the perfect house for the Global Green Communities Project and all staff who will support the initiative.

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our Global Green Team. This position is for general support. Some of the responsibilities include:

  • research
  • corporate outreach
  • support for grant applications and grant writingย 
  • creation ofย content for the website
  • developing partnerships with other eco-friendly organizations
  • marketing/social media
  • website support (WordPress) is a plus

As we enter 2021, many exciting new projects are launching and events are being planned.ย It is a dynamic work environment so the tasks will vary day-to-day. We are looking for a time commitment of at leastย 20 hours/week (Hybridย - flexible work model that allows splitting time between working in the office and working from home).

Additional Information

Compensation:ย This position is paid with a biweekly stipend of around USD 800. The position is not full time.ย
