Job description

Land Development Company seeking Motor Grader Operator (Broward County /West Palm Beach County)

  • Experience in operating 140 Motor Grader
  • Experience in operating Heavy Equipment including, but not limited to -  Excavators, Rollers, Skid-Steer, Asphalt Paver, Loader, Dozer etc.
  • Moving, spreading, compacting, positioning, and loading materials as needed.
  • Requires a thorough understanding of all aspects of the land development industry including, but not limited to, prep work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, job specifications, compaction, and other details related to asphalt paving
  • Assist the crew on Layout and installs underground pipe systems of various shapes and sizes.
  • Ensures proper placement, connections, and alignment according to project specifications.
  • Service, grease, and clean the machines daily.
  • Perform and document daily inspection of the equipment.
  • Communicate to the Field Supervisor on the different breakdowns and operational needs.
  • Must operate all equipment following safety policies and standards, as well as DOT policies and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications For This Role

  • 3 years of experience working with heavy equipment.
  • Valid Certification
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and own form of transportation.
  • Must have smartphone to use email, timesheets, text messaging.
  • Must be physically fit for laborious work
  • Must be available Saturdays
