The Role
We are seeking a skilled and personable Gas Fireplace Technician/Sales Specialist to service, install, and sell
gas fireplace systems to our residential and commercial customers across the DMV area. This is a field-based
role that combines technical expertise with customer-facing sales ideal for someone who takes pride in both
their craft and the relationships they build along the way.
What You'll Do
Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot vented and ventless gas fireplaces
Install replacement parts including pilot assemblies, gas valves, and ignition systems
Install vented and ventless gas fireplaces, burners, and log sets
Sell new gas fireplace units and systems to residential and commercial customers
Identify and present repair and upgrade opportunities in a consultative, no-pressure way
Prepare accurate on-site estimates and close sales with confidence
Maintain your company vehicle and tools to our high standards
Complete job paperwork thoroughly and on time
Represent our company with professionalism on every visit
What We're Looking For
One to three years of experience in gas fireplace service, HVAC, plumbing, or a related trade
A natural communicator who can explain technical issues to homeowners clearly and confidently
Comfortable selling gas fireplace units and systems directly to customers in the field
Exceptional customer service instincts: reliable, personable, and detail-oriented
Valid driver's license required
Certifications & Licenses (Not Required, But Appreciated)

NFI (National Fireplace Institute) certification
CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) certification
WSSC, State of Maryland, Virginia, or DC gas license
MHIC (Maryland Home Improvement Commission) license
