Job description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Home Health position in the West Portland, OR area, requiring at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and an active OR RN license.
Job Details
• Home health setting serving West Portland, OR and surrounding areas,
• 1:1 patient ratio with visits to up to 6 patients per day; standard productivity is 30 points per day,
• 8-hour day shifts (5x8), 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; 4x10 and 3x12 schedules cannot be accommodated,
• No weekend requirements,
• No on-call requirements,
• Floating between all facilities within the state is required and non-negotiable,
• Charting via Epic Remote Client (laptop) and Rover phone app; OASIS documentation required,
• OASIS experience is required for this position,
Job Requirements
• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required,
• Current BLS certification required,
• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health nursing experience required,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• OASIS experience required,
• Reliable personal transportation required,
• COVID-19 primary vaccination series plus at least one booster required,
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration,
• SSN and DOB required for consideration,
Additional Information
• Patients are grouped geographically to minimize drive time; occasional daily travel radius of up to approximately 60 miles (60-90 minutes total drive time),
• Business casual attire required; scrubs are allowed but not required and no specific color is mandated; jeans are not permitted,
• Free parking available,
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate,
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within a 50-75 mile radius are considered local and are eligible at the same rate,
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler, and must not reside within 50 miles of the submitting facility,
• Minimal RTO is preferred; any RTO requests should be disclosed prior to submission as post-offer requests may be denied
