Job description

Job Title: Commercial Electrical Project Manager
**This is a full-time permanent direct placement opportunity.

Position Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing commercial electrical construction projects from award through closeout. This individual will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, change orders, procurement, and customer relationships while working closely with company leadership, estimators, field foremen, and office staff.
  • The estimated pay range for this role is $95,000 - $140,000 per year based on experience
Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple commercial electrical projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, labor productivity, and profitability.
  • Review contract documents, specifications, and drawings.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and track change orders.
  • Coordinate material procurement and equipment deliveries.
  • Lead project kickoff and progress meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, vendors, and inspectors.
  • Support field foremen by providing timely information, problem resolution, and resources.
  • Review project billings, forecasting, and cash flow.
  • Ensure projects remain compliant with contract requirements and company standards.
  • Manage project closeout including punch lists, as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and final billing.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical project management or foreman experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and construction practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and contracts.
  • Experience managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Self-motivated with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience
  • Commercial electrical contracting.
  • Healthcare, education, multifamily, or industrial projects.
  • Field supervision experience is a plus.
