Job description

Branz Nutrition Counseling is a weight-inclusive outpatient nutrition practice providing compassionate, evidence-based care across the lifespan. Our team specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, and general wellness while remaining grounded in Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size® principles. We are passionate about creating a supportive environment for both our clients and our clinicians and believe exceptional care starts with a healthy, supported team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain clinical expectations that support a growth mindset (both personally and within the practice)    
  • Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and follow-up sessions, building a treatment plan collaboratively with your expert guidance and client goals
  • Provide all foods fit and weight-inclusive focused nutrition counseling to clients and families
  • Integrate a variety of skills, topics and evidenced-based approaches appropriately to support clients through their recovery and health journeys, including medical nutrition therapy and psychoeducation, skill support, intuitive eating principles, body image counseling, and mindfulness practices
  • Communicate with multidisplinary professionals on each clients' treatment teams   
  • Complete thorough and timely documentation of client care 
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, continuing education opportunities
  • Participate in professional community connection opportunities
Expectations
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Illinois and/or Missouri
  • Knowledge or a strong interest in practicing nutrition from anti-diet and weight neutral approaches 
  • Collaboration and adaptability within team settings
  • Empathy and genuine curiosity for each client's unique journey within their relationships to food, body, and movement
