Adult Inpatient and Residential Psychiatrist
Rosewood Ranch
Wickenburg, AZ
 For more than 25 years, Monte Nido & Affiliates has delivered proven treatment for eating disorders. Our model blends the personalized and medically-sophisticated care for which we are known, with the latest research and strategies to best help those overcoming their eating disorders.
 We are seeking Psychiatrist who is Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Rosewood Ranch, a Monte Nido Affiliate. Rosewood Ranch is the main campus location of Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders. It is located in Wickenburg, Arizona on 14 beautiful acres, high in the Sonoran Desert, with breathtaking views of the Bradshaw Mountains. Rosewood Ranch is licensed as an inpatient behavioral facility and Residential Behavioral Facility, which enables us to treat adults and adolescents with the most severe eating disorder. We welcome Psychiatrists at all career-levels!
 At Rosewood, we understand the intricate medical, emotional, and psychological complications experienced by someone with an eating disorder. Using a holistic and multidisciplinary approach, we treat patients with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorders, as well as co-occurring addictions and disorders. Our well-established model of care, experienced multidisciplinary staff, and intimate warm setting make Rosewood uniquely qualified to effectively treat an eating disorder. Rosewood is one of the nation’s leading eating disorder treatment programs for men, women and adolescents offering comprehensive treatment for all stages of recovery, from 24-hour inpatient monitoring to a variety of residential, transitional and outpatient programs.
 Responsibilities Include:
Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations and weekly follow-up sessions to include psychotropic medication management.
Maintain current progress notes.
Communicate with referring providers and family members as needed.
Contribute individualized notes for Discharge Planning.
Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility and the practice of Psychiatry.
Must have:
MD or DO degree with active Medical License.
Must hold BLS/CPR prior to starting work on site; we can arrange training if needed.
Two years of clinical experience desired; PGY3 and higher warmly welcomed for those whose programs permit moonlighting.
Valid DEA certificate (or be eligible for DEA privileges).
Experience in Residential or Inpatient levels of care is preferred
