Job description

We're looking for a high precision programmer machinist to add to our continued success!!
Join our precision-driven aerospace and defense machine shop in Brownsburg, Indiana. We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer who can take ownership of parts from print to production.
What You’ll Do

  •  Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes 
  •  Program, edit, and optimize toolpaths using CAM software 
  •  Read and interpret complex blueprints 
  •  Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining 
  •  Design and implement fixtures and workholding 
  •  Troubleshoot machining and programming issues 
  •  Perform inspections using precision measuring tools 
  •  Support continuous improvement and process development 
Required Qualifications

  •  5+ years CNC machining experience (mills and lathes) 
  •  Proven CAM programming experience (required)
  •  Experience with Fusion 360, Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, or similar 
  •  Strong blueprint reading and tolerance control 
  •  Ability to independently run jobs from setup through completion 
  •  Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-driven 
Preferred Qualifications

  •  Multi-axis machining (4th/5th axis) 
  •  GD&T application 
  •  Advanced fixturing 
  •  Aerospace/defense experience 
  •  Haas, Mazak, SMART, or Fanuc controls 
  •  Trade school or apprenticeship
