Build precision parts that power medical instruments and implants

Your work on Swiss-style lathes directly impacts patient outcomes. You’ll set up, operate, and optimize equipment while supporting NPI launches and keeping quality and on-time delivery front and center.

We are willing to train CNC Lathe Operators!

Core responsibilities
  • Program debugging and fine-tuning; making machine adjustments and tool changes as needed.
  • Operation and care of CNC Swiss machines plus finishing equipment, fixtures, and hand tools; deburring to spec.
  • Blueprint, inspection check-sheet, and work-instruction interpretation.
  • Inspection using calipers, micrometers, height stands, and comparators.
  • Execution through ERP and machine monitoring systems; electronic documentation of quality checks.
  • Feedback loop with CNC programmers; maintenance of setup documentation per change control procedures.
  • Guidance and training for team members to lift utilization and production attainment.
  • Continuous improvement focused on quality and delivery; deliver to plan for on-time shipments.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical training preferred.
  • 5+ years operating Swiss-style lathes in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with Citizen, Tsugami, or similar Swiss platforms preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of machinery, tooling, measuring, and gauging equipment; strong production-process understanding.
  • Proficiency with setups, blueprint reading, routers, and setup files.
  • Understanding of part requirements for both functional performance and cosmetic finish.
  • Basic CNC programming capability.
  • Strong verbal communication across production, management, and technical roles.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and objectives.
  • Ability to follow Supervisor direction and execute assigned tasks.
