Job description

Job Description:
i. Join the Head Start teaching team in the role of Home Visitor. This position is responsible for education, case management, and family advocacy to families in their own homes. The Home Visitor must be self-motivated to plan and implement home-based learning experiences while interacting with the child and parent or guardian. As a Home Visitor, you must be respectful and able to create trusting relationships with the families. The minimum requirement is a current home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate or bachelor's degree. AA/BA in ECE or related field.
Must complete all trainings required by child care licensing, including but not limited to the following:
a. Ongoing Training: Staff must participate in annual training on child safety, mandated
reporting, and emergency procedures (Title 22, §101216.2).
b. Mandated Reporting: All employees are mandated reporters of suspected child
abuse or neglect (Title 22, §101212(d))
Pay Rate Depending on Education
AA - $26.67
BA - $29.10
