Role Overview
BMC Helix Control-M Developer is a production support-focused role responsible for designing, scheduling, monitoring, and maintaining batch workflows using BMC Control-M and BMC Helix platforms. The role requires offshore support, coordination with clients, and flexibility to support during weekdays and weekends as required.
Must-Have Technical / Functional Skills
  • Strong understanding of BMC Control-M and BMC Helix architecture.
  • Hands-on experience in Control-M / Helix scheduling and batch migration activities.
  • Experience working with BMC Helix Control-M features, including:
    • SLA Management
    • Managed File Transfer (MFT)
    • API integrations
  • Experience with Control-M versions v9.20 and v9.21.
  • Hands-on experience with MFT, MFT B2B, AWS, Azure, and application integration features.
  • Strong experience using Control-M Automation API.
  • Good knowledge of JSON and Python (mandatory).
  • Working knowledge of AWS services and Spacelift for IaC workflows.
  • Experience using GitHub for cloud infrastructure automation and version control.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Ability to work in Agile environments and manage multiple priorities.
