Job description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Amplify Data-Plane team. AWS Amplify is a full-stack platform designed to simplify the creation, deployment, and management of modern web and mobile applications. You will have the opportunity to shape direct Customer experience by enabling the Rust-based data-plane with features and improvements for developers.


Key job responsibilities
Lead backend data-plane architecture design for large-scale applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build intuitive user experiences for developers deploying full-stack web and mobile applications on AWS Amplify.
Mentor junior engineers, contribute to code reviews, and help foster a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.


Work closely with partners and peers to implement and enhance features that provide a delightful and efficient developer experience.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continually improving processes and technologies used in software development.
Participate in the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of features, from ideation to monitoring performance in production environments.

As a Senior Development Engineer on this team, you will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and back-end engineers to create seamless, performant, and scalable front-end solutions that empower developers to build better apps faster. You will design and develop features that empower customer web sites and applications directly.
