Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations operating in places without dependable internet access.
We are seeking a Web Content Operations Manager to lead website content operations for our North America (NA) markets. This role serves as the central publishing authority for leo.amazon.com/NA, owning the end-to-end content lifecycle from intake through go-live, including quality assurance, technical SEO validation, and production publishing. You will manage the publishing workflow, triage incoming requests, coordinate resources, and serve as the final sign-off authority for all EN-US web content going live on leo.amazon.com.
Key job responsibilities
Publishing Operations & Quality Assurance
• Perform QA and UAT using the Ops checklist, including Technical SEO, leveraging CMS expertise (preferably AEM) to validate content in staging across all browsers and devices
• Publish content from staging to production, scheduling go-live dates aligned with requestor timelines
• Confirm changes and functionality on the live website post-publish; provide screenshot confirmation in Approvals tickets
• Identify and escalate critical red flags (Legal risk, PR risk, financial risk, loss of customer trust) vs. non-critical stylistic feedback for fast-follow scheduling
Intake, Resource Management & Workflow Coordination
• Triage and intake Approvals tickets, assign resources (builders, designers), and manage workback schedules
• Manage sprint/workback schedules, JIRA tickets, and Slack channel communications (#vml-leo-website)
• Drive process improvements and automation opportunities within the web content publishing pipeline
• Mentor and provide guidance to Web Content Specialists across US and ROW regions
I
nternational Localization & Translation Oversight
Note: This role oversees localization updates within the CMS-building translated content into AEM pages and conducting QA on localized builds. Requesting localized content from translation teams and routing content for stakeholder approvals remains the responsibility of the Requestor/PMM.
• Oversee the EN-ROW (English - Rest of World) localization publishing workflow: receive approved translated copy docs from the St, build localized content into AEM pages, and conduct QA on all localized builds
• Partner with Stakeholders and Translation agencies to ensure translated copy docs are delivered on schedule and ready for CMS integration
• Develop and maintain Ops checklists, QA documentation, and publishing SOPs for regional markets
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Alignment
• Coordinate with Product Marketing, Product, UX, Brand, Tax, Legal, and Regional Go-to-Market teams to ensure content accuracy and compliance
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with technical and non-technical partners; demonstrate executive presence in meetings with ability to influence and drive decisions
• Proactively identify and resolve conflicts between competing priorities; escalate issues with clear, data-backed recommendations
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels
- Experience in brand identity and voice development
- Experience creating brand marketing content
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
