Metal Deburring Tech | $18/hr.+ based on experience | 5:30am – 2:30pm or 6am – 3pm with half day Friday

We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Finishing / Deburring Technician to join a manufacturing team in the Painesville area. This position is responsible for deburring, surface preparation, metal finishing, and visual inspection of precision-machined components. The ideal candidate will have experience in a machining or manufacturing environment and a strong commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
  • Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined metal parts
  • Perform surface preparation and finishing using hand tools, abrasives, grinders, and other finishing equipment
  • Inspect parts for quality and conformance to specifications
  • Utilize magnification equipment, including microscopes and other visual inspection tools, when required
  • Identify and report defects or non-conforming conditions
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Previous experience in deburring, metal finishing, surface preparation, or manufacturing preferred
  • Experience working with machined metal components strongly preferred
  • Comfortable performing detailed visual inspections, including microscope work when required
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to use basic measuring and inspection tools
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
  • Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
