Food Truck Pizza Artist - Freshies Wood Fired
Freshies Wood Fired is looking for a Pizza Artist to join our food truck team. This is a fun, seasonal opportunity to work outdoors, travel to events across Maine, and be part of a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
From weddings to local fairs, you'll help create artisan, wood-fired pizza while delivering a great experience to every customer.
What You'll Do
  • Prepare, cook, and package artisan, wood-fired pizzas following Freshies standards
  • Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Ensure product quality and consistency with every order
  • Receive and verify deliveries; check product quality and accuracy
  • Track product and food safety information using handheld devices or paperwork
  • Keep the food truck and prep areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Provide friendly, engaging customer service at events and locations
  • Support team members in a fast-paced, mobile food environment
  • Travel to various event locations as part of the role
Qualifications
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and customer-focused
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
  • Strong attention to detail and food quality
  • Comfortable working in varying conditions (heat, cold, weather changes)
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus
