HIRING IMMEDIATELY: FRESH RECEIVING SUPERVISOR IN MINOOKA, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Fresh Receiving Supervisor to join our team in Minooka, IL. The Fresh Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all inbound fresh product operations within the distribution center. This role ensures accuracy, food safety, quality compliance, and efficient workflow across all receiving activities, while leading a team of associates to maintain high operational standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings strong leadership and communication skills to support daily fresh receiving operations. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise all fresh receiving processes, including scheduling inbound loads, verifying shipments, and ensuring proper dock utilization.
  • Monitor and manage inbound product flow to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure timely unloading, checking, palletizing, and staging of all fresh goods.
  • Review bills of lading, temperature logs, and receiving documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Verify product quality upon receipt, including temperature checks, condition assessments, and adherence to food safety protocols.
  • Identify and document shortages, damages, mis-shipments, and quality issues; escalate concerns as required.
  • Enforce cold chain integrity throughout all receiving processes.
  • Partner with quality teams to resolve product issues and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Supervise, train, and coach Receiving Clerks, Forklift Operators, and other receiving personnel.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in receiving or warehouse operations, preferably within fresh food distribution.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role required.
  • Strong understanding of receiving workflows, fresh product handling, and cold chain management.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated environments for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve operational issues quickly.
