Job description

Join our team as a Part-Time Fresh Warehouse Worker and help ensure the smooth handling and distribution of our freshly baked goods. In this role, you'll be responsible for receiving, organizing, and preparing products for shipment while keeping a clean, safe, and temperature-controlled environment. You'll work closely with team members to maintain product quality and meet daily delivery goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in transferring fresh products from the production area to the staging area and organizes the pick line according to the designated picking order
  • Replenishes picking locations throughout the course of the shift to ensure product is available to be selected for picking
  • Assembles assorted box items as assigned
  • Builds and organizes route orders based on product specifications
  • Accurately pulls orders by route using pick sheets
  • Secures orders by route with tape and clearly labels stacks with store numbers and other relevant information
  • Arranges completed route orders for efficient pickup by delivery drivers
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
  • Performs thorough cleaning of the work area at the end of each shift
  • Completes tasks and works in designated areas as assigned by the lead or supervisor
  • Safety Sensitive Position
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds repeatedly with or without accommodation
  • Adherence to safe work practices and procedures as instructed
  • Food Handler's Permit preferred
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic math skills are required for order accuracy and inventory tasks
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in the English language is required for effective communication, reading, and writing
  • Must be available to work Sunday through Friday, typically between the hours of 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM, with one scheduled day off during the week
