Job description

Fresh Product Delivery Driver - United Dairy Farmers - Greater Cincinnati
There's nothing like a great doughnut to go with your morning coffee, also great with a big glass of UDF milk!!
We are looking for drivers to deliver fresh grab and go products like milk, water, juices, commissary products, doughnuts, muffins, cookies & other delicious products produced at our family bakery to UDF stores in the Greater Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, & Kentucky areas.
This is a full-time position with a $1,500 Sign-On-Bonus. The driver schedule is a rotating one that includes weekends. Based at our Bakery Location in Blue Ash, Ohio drivers deliver doughnuts, fresh food, milk, water, juice, fruit drinks, & commissary products to UDF stores in the Greater Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, & Kentucky markets. Depending on the route, shifts start between 12:00pm and 2:00pm, routes are scheduled 8 and 10 hour shifts, but could take longer depending on weather & traffic. Drivers are scheduled 4 or 5 days a week with a rotating ON Call schedule.
Sign-On Bonus of $1,500 will be paid in $500 increments after 90 days -180 days - 1 year Anniversary (good attendance is required to be eligible for Sign-On Bonus). There is also a quarterly driver bonus of $$750 for meeting drive KPI's. Designated drivers that are on call on their day's off will also earn $40/day for being on call.
The position requires being able to drive a 26 foot box truck with a lift-gate at night and in all weather conditions. It requires the ability to push, pull, lift carts, & deliver stacks of milk, water, juice, & commissary products delivered in plastic milk crates using a 2 wheel dolly weighing as much as 200 pounds out of the box truck, onto the liftgate & into the back door of each UDF store cooler being delivered. Must have the ability to read delivery tickets and complete log books and other paperwork accurately.
To qualify you must have a valid CDL license and a DOT Medical card with a driving record that meets company standards. You must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have valid CDL
  • Drivers must have a valid DOT medical card
  • Previous experience in a driving role specific to food production preferred but not required.
  • Requires the ability to read delivery tickets and complete logbooks and other paperwork accurately.
  • Ability to handle constant physical workload.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
  • Read, write and communicate in English.
  • Be on time and willing to perform some overtime when necessary.
  • Be able to mentor the next team member
  • Able to work with computers, read order sheets, etc.
