Description
FACULTY RECRUITING IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING-THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN. The McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering seeks outstanding applicants conducting research in the area of soft matter with practical applications to advanced materials, energy and healthcare for a faculty position. Applicants are sought at the rank of Assistant Professor, but candidates with exceptional records of accomplishment will also be considered for the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor.
Qualifications
The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate chemical engineering courses, develop a sponsored research program, supervise graduate students, collaborate with other faculty, and participate actively in service to the university and the profession. A Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a related field is required. Applications from women and minorities are especially encouraged.
