SALES FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER – FRENCH MARKET

FINANCE / SALES FINANCE & BUSINESS PARTNERING

As our Sales Finance Business Partner, you will be at the heart of commercial performance, partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive business performance across the French market.

THE ROLE

OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!

As our Sales Finance Business Partner, you play a critical role in transforming financial data into actionable business insights. You will support forecasting, closing activities, customer profitability analysis, and commercial decision-making while partnering closely with key stakeholders in a fast-paced beauty environment.

You will be part of the French Finance Team, and you will manage:

1. Commercial Performance & Business Partnering

  • Act as Finance Co‑Pilot to the Sales organization through retailer performance analysis.
  • Identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities to support commercial decisions.
  • Partner closely with Sales teams to improve performance visibility and business outcomes.

2. Customer Analysis & Commercial Support

  • Support annual customer negotiations through financial simulations and commercial analyses.
  • Prepare decision-support materials and recommendations for commercial stakeholders.
  • Contribute to building robust customer-level financial insights.

3. Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning

  • Support budget and forecast cycles across the French business.
  • Build reliable sales assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Contribute to achieving an accurate business landing through effective planning processes.

4. Financial Control & Month-End Close

  • Participate in month-end close activities covering Gross Sales, Gross-to-Net, and Net Revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with Coty policies, US GAAP, and SOX requirements.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses.
  • Maintain strong financial governance and reporting accuracy.

5. Reporting, Automation & Transformation

  • Improve and automate reporting tools using Excel and Power BI.
  • Enhance reporting efficiency and data accessibility for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to AI and automation initiatives that simplify Finance processes.
  • Support digital transformation efforts across the Finance function.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

As a commercially minded finance professional, you enjoy turning data into actions and partnering with stakeholders to improve business performance.

Your skills and experience include:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Business Partnering.
  • Experience in a commercial or fast-paced business environment is highly valued.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SAP, or other analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Fluent French and good command of English.
