12 months, with a strong chance of converting to full time afterward

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Financials Consultant to lead French GAAP statutory accounting and IFRS‐based group reporting within our global Workday environment. You will own design, configuration, and optimization of Workday Financials, ensuring compliance with Plan Comptable Général, FEC audit file requirements, IFRS reporting standards, and France's upcoming 2026 e‐invoicing/e‐reporting mandate. This is a hands‐on, high‐impact role working cross‐functionally across Finance, Accounting, Consolidation, and Technology teams—ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of regulation, technology, and financial operations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead configuration and continuous improvement of Workday Financials to support French GAAP and IFRS simultaneously.
  • Maintain and optimize PCG-to-IFRS mappings, account posting rules, worktags, and multi‐book accounting structures.
  • Ensure readiness for FEC (Fichier des Écritures Comptables) generation, validation, and audit compliance.
  • Prepare the Workday ecosystem for France's mandatory B2B e‐invoicing/e‐reporting rollout (Factur‐X, UBL, CII; PPF/Chorus Pro workflows).
  • Support and enhance period close, FX revaluation, intercompany eliminations, and statutory reporting.
  • Build advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics for statutory, consolidation, and management purposes.
  • Partner with market finance teams, tax, auditors, and IT to resolve issues and implement scalable solutions.
  • Deliver training, documentation, and best practices to super‐users and local entities.

What You Bring

  • 5–8+ years hands‐on Workday Financials experience (post‐go‐live enhancements, not only project‐based).
  • Strong expertise in French GAAP, IFRS, and Workday's multi‐book/multi‐ledger capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of FDM/worktags, account posting rules, journals, and financial domain configuration.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder‐management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Professional proficiency in French and English.
  • Workday certifications (Financials, Reporting, Studio/EIB).
  • Experience with Accounting Center and Prism.
  • Exposure to tax engine configurations, cash/banking setups, or consolidation processes.
  • Experience producing or supporting FEC files and local statutory audit requirements.
  • Familiarity with France's 2026 e‐invoicing mandate and structured invoice formats (Factur‐X/UBL/CII).
