Western Alliance Logistics, une division de Western Alliance, est une entreprise de logistique 3PL en pleine croissance specialisee dans le transport de marchandises. Fondee en 2015 et etablie a Montreal, nous transportons des marchandises par camion, train, avion et bateau partout au Canada, aux Etats-Unis et au Mexique.


Notre croissance s'accelere a travers plusieurs entites et nous recherchons un leader en finance capable d'apporter structure, visibilite et rigueur a notre fonction financiere. Le ou la directeur(trice) des finances est responsable de l'ensemble de la fonction financiere et travaille directement avec les proprietaires de l'entreprise sur les decisions qui faconnent son avenir.


Principales responsabilites

Diriger la fonction financiere pour l'ensemble des entites du groupe : comptabilite, comptes clients, comptes fournisseurs, paie et rapports financiers
Superviser les clotures mensuelles, trimestrielles et annuelles, la consolidation ainsi que la preparation des etats financiers
Elaborer les budgets, les previsions et les projections de flux de tresorerie, et presenter les ecarts a l'equipe de direction
Fournir des analyses de marge et de profit brut par voie de transport, client et representant des ventes afin d'appuyer les decisions commerciales
Gerer les relations bancaires, les facilites de credit, la tresorerie et l'exposition multidevise (CAD/USD)
Concevoir et mettre en place des controles internes, des processus d'approbation et des politiques financieres
Diriger l'audit ou la mission d'examen de fin d'exercice et gerer les relations avec les comptables externes et les conseillers fiscaux
Superviser la conformite relative a la TPS/TVQ, a l'impot des societes et aux remises gouvernementales dans les differentes juridictions
Piloter l'automatisation et l'amelioration des systemes lies a l'ERP, au TMS et aux outils de veille strategique et de production de rapports
Developper l'equipe des finances - controleur, comptes clients, comptes fournisseurs et paie - grace a l'accompagnement et a des objectifs clairs


Qualifications

Titre de CPA
Plus de 5 ans d'experience progressive en leadership financier, incluant la consolidation de plusieurs entites
Excellente maitrise des systemes ERP et des outils de production de rapports (Sage 300, Claude ou equivalent)
Maitrise avancee d'Excel et grande aisance a travailler avec d'importants ensembles de donnees
Bilingue - francais et anglais, a l'oral comme a l'ecrit


Profil recherche

Une personne qui met en place des systemes plutot que de contourner les processus existants
Un excellent communicateur ou une excellente communicatrice capable de rendre les donnees financieres claires et pertinentes pour les gestionnaires non financiers
Une personne a l'aise d'etre directement impliquee dans les operations d'une entreprise en croissance - strategie le matin, feuilles de calcul l'apres-midi

We are scaling quickly across multiple entities and need a finance leader who can bring structure, visibility and discipline to the numbers. The Director of Finance owns the entire finance function and works directly with ownership on the decisions that shape the business.


Key responsibilities
Lead the finance function across all entities in the group - accounting, AR, AP, payroll and reporting
Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close, consolidation and financial statement preparation
Build budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections, and report variances to the executive team
Deliver margin and gross-profit analytics by lane, customer and salesperson to drive commercial decisions
Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, treasury and multi-currency (CAD/USD) exposure
Design and enforce internal controls, approval frameworks and finance policy
Lead the year-end audit or review and manage external accountants and tax advisors
Oversee GST/QST, corporate tax and government remittance compliance across jurisdictions
Drive automation and system improvement across the ERP, the TMS and business intelligence reporting
Develop the finance team - Controller, AR, AP and payroll - through coaching and clear objectives


Qualifications
CPA designation
5+ years of progressive finance leadership, including multi-entity consolidation
Strong command of ERP and reporting tools (Sage 300, Claude or equivalent)
Advanced Excel and genuine comfort working with large data sets
Bilingual - French and English, spoken and written
