This position is currently based in Reno, Nevada, with required travel to California for training.

Position Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and transportation regulations.
  • Maintain warehouse facilities and equipment while optimizing warehouse layout and storage capacity.
  • Establish operational KPIs, monitor results, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare annual logistics budgets and analyze monthly performance against budget.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and development of warehouse team members.
  • Coach, counsel, and support front-line supervisors in employee performance management.
  • Provide logistics and distribution analysis to optimize transportation, inventory flow, and customer service.
Minimum Experience Required
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Reno, NV.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, or a related field required.
  • 1–5 years of Supply Chain and/or Industrial Engineering experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
  • 2+ years of operational management experience overseeing receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse operations.
  • 1–3 years of logistics/transportation experience in a CPG and mass-market distribution environment.
  • Experience supporting omni-channel distribution with emphasis on e-commerce fulfillment.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. domestic transportation, including small parcel and omni-channel freight.
  • Familiarity with container import processes.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of Kaizen principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally 10–20%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six Sigma certification.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 procedures.
