About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inbound Logistics Specialist to support international and domestic freight operations. This position is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing transportation and warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with import/export requirements, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the logistics process.
The ideal candidate has experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain operations and excels in a fast-paced environment where organization, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate international and domestic shipments via air, ocean, and ground transportation.
  • Manage import/export documentation and support customs clearance activities.
  • Partner with warehouse teams to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and shipment of cargo.
  • Schedule and monitor transportation activities with trucking companies and freight carriers.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, airway bills, invoices, and packing lists.
  • Process customer and vendor invoices while supporting accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Monitor shipment profitability and assist with financial reporting and job cost analysis.
  • Complete shipment settlements and ensure timely closure of transportation records.
  • Maintain accurate data within transportation management and ERP systems.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
  • Investigate and resolve shipment delays, damage claims, and delivery discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance overall logistics performance.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related operations.
  • Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, and transportation coordination.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving and customer service abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Korean and English bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
