Job description

The role:

Reporting to the team Lead you will be responsible for servicing customers by executing daily order processing, analyzing forecasts and inventory levels, maximizing on time and fill rate metrics, investigating service levels, and facilitating cross-functional meetings.

What you will do:

Account Management

  • Manage daily order processing activities for a specified account or group of accounts.
  • Maintain SAP files such as customer master files, pricing tables, customer resource tables, and customer specific material determination tables.
  • Monitor promotional orders to ensure timely shipment and arrival at the customers DC by the requested delivery date.
  • Execute stock management by ensuring the correct item and versions are shipping to the appropriate customer at the correct timing.
  • Facilitate and drive customer and cross functional team meetings.
  • Manage key accounts on inventory and forecasting management by proactively suggesting strategies that impact the customers ordering forecast.

Order, Shipment, and Reporting Analysis

  • Drive service level investigation and improvements by working collaboratively with customers, carriers, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Perform regular analysis of customer service levels and complete monthly Key Performance Reporting (KPI's).
  • Understand supply chain requirements for customers and develop solutions to solve issues.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations or Business
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to think strategically
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Logistics and Customer Service experience
  • Good listening skills, sense of urgency, and strong organizational skills
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and self-confidence to perform effectively.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), 1 year
  • Thorough understanding of forecasting, distribution, inventory control, and the promotional effect on demand is preferred
