About the role:
As an Air Export Specialist (Freight Forwarding) for TQL Global, you will be instrumental in the growth and development of the air freight forwarding business of TQL Global. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of Air Export shipments, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate records and delivering high-quality customer experiences.

What you'll be doing:
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of Air Export shipments, from booking through delivery, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods in order to deliver high-quality customer experience
  • Communicate with overseas agents, carriers and other service providers to arrange and confirm shipment details, including booking, documentation, tracking and tracing, customs clearance and delivery
  • Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices and customs declarations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Track and monitor the status of export shipments, providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on shipment progress and any potential delays or issues
  • Work closely with customs brokers and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth clearance of exported goods, resolving any customs-related issues or discrepancies as needed
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address client inquiries, provide support and resolve shipment-related issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of Export shipments, including tracking information, documentation and financial data, using appropriate systems and software
  • Adhere to internal and external KPIs and deliver exceptional compliance audit scores
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes and best practices in air transportation and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing their needs and providing solutions promptly and professionally

What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Air Export operations in a freight forwarding or logistics environment
  • Strong knowledge of air freight documentation, customs regulations, INCO terms and international trade practices
  • Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office applications
  • CargoWise software experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple shipments simultaneously
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
