Job Description
General Purpose of the Position:
Responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with
customers on behalf of the company and for actively prospecting for new accounts
and maximizing sales potential with existing customers. The Inside Sales
Representative is the primary external representative for our organization for
all assigned accounts and is a key educator to our clients. The Inside Sales
Representative is accountable for meeting the monthly, quarterly and annual
revenue and sales goals established by the company. The sales and strategic
marketing activities of the team will be designed to achieve these revenue
goals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as good math skills.
  • Strong sales aptitude.
  • Ability to identify and meet customers' needs and requirements. Must be a self-starter, proactive, and a problem solver.
  • Strong managerial abilities and communications skills.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, summarize, and articulate complex legal and financial information. Able to read and interpret agreements and implement the relevant provisions of such.
  • Responsive, proactive team player with strong leadership skills. Task and goal oriented with capacity to function both corporate and entrepreneurial settings. Ability to work with multiple supervisors, owners, and staff.
  • Ability to relate to all individuals in the organization, clients, and prospects while being persuasive and decisive on matters relating to essential functions of position.
  • Must be timely, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining control and order.
  • Fully bilingual (English, Spanish) required, due to the nature of company business. Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:
  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, IES Financial, Cargo Wise, and Freight Accounting System, Other Accounting Software a plus

Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Master's Degree a strong plus.
  • 2 Years experience in inside sales. Experience in the Cargo/Freight forwarding industry, preferable with NVOCC a strong plus
