Job description

  • Responsible for customers in the states of CT, MA, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA.
  • Introduce yourself and keep relationships going with all AMC owners within your region.
  • Manage all customers’ information and sales call updates via our Sales Now CRM platform.
  • Attendance at corporate sales meetings each Monday at 8:00 AM Pacific.
  • Completion of weekly sales call log from Sales Now CRM to be turned in electronically and reviewed at our Monday meeting for the previous week’s activity.
  • Minimum three days per week out in the field in front of customers.
  • Weekly data mining for new customers from the Cargo Yellow pages website.
  • Set up two customer Teams calls each month in concert with our Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • New account Teams call follow-up on all new customers in your area of responsibility, reviewing network map, website and all Freight Force services.
  • Educate new and existing customers on website functionality, automated quote function, rate tariffs and all our service capabilities.
  • Ensures that customers’ TMS system is loaded with Freight Force locations, so we are a routing option for all 70 locations we service.
  • Keep our Director of Operations updated on any service issues encountered in the field that affect our ability to maintain business.
  • Assist the Inside Sales team with RFQ follow up on pricing needed and verify the RFQ awards with our customer.
