Job description

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, overtime as needed

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

Location: ONSITE -1024 Southgate Park Dr., Warsaw, IN 46580

Job Summary:

The Production Artist will work independently once the collaboration with the creative team is done to execute new designs in product development. They will utilize computer software to design and generate mass quantities of production files for sports-licensed products. They will manage production files and be responsible for making changes to product files and images, as designs frequently change when teams update their logos, colors, and/or brand identity.

Experience:

Experience in the work field with "Pre-Press" design and production desired and would help in this role.

Software Skills:

Must be proficient in Adobe programs, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.

Essential Skills and Ability:

· Attention to Detail and Quality Control are at the top of the list.

· This role requires repetitive work – designing the same product for 150+ different sports teams.

· We need a high standard of work, quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing quality.

· Strong understanding of Design Principles (spacing, balance, composition, layout, text treatment)

· Communication Skills (communicating with domestic and international factories on per-project basis)

· Independent Worker / Takes initiative to complete tasks to meet deadline without needing to be told

· Knowledge of NFL, MLB, NHL and NCAA teams is helpful

NOTE: This is NOT a super “creative” role.

While creativity and visual problem-solving are a big advantage, we are looking for more of a “technician” to streamline and execute mass amounts of designs.

Most of the logos and artwork we work with are already provided by the teams and universities, so there isn’t much need for ‘Concept Art’ or ‘Brainstorming’ new product idea. We need someone who can utilize an established template and execute designs with the assets provided to them.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree desired but not required.
