Overview

We're seeking a Junior Designer with HTML skills to support the design, development, and execution of email and CRM campaigns across digital marketing platforms for our financial services clients. The ideal candidate has an eye for clean, customer-centric design and a solid understanding of responsive HTML coding for email. Experience with banking, fintech, or financial services clients is a strong plus and will help you thrive in a regulated, detail-focused environment. 

A working knowledge of HTML and CSS is crucial for crafting effective email campaigns. Understanding how these languages render across different email clients (like Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo! Mail, etc.) is essential for ensuring consistent display and a positive user experience. Litmus and Email on Acid, or similar tools, are valuable for previewing and testing how emails look in various clients and for identifying and fixing rendering issues. 

Responsibilities

 Key Responsibilities 

Design and code responsive HTML emails that are visually engaging and meet brand/client standards. 

Support the production and QA of CRM assets including emails, templates, and landing pages. 

Collaborate with strategy, account, and compliance teams to ensure timely, accurate campaign delivery. 

Ensure emails render correctly across multiple browsers, devices, and email clients. 

Maintain organized asset libraries and reusable components for cross-client efficiency. 

Stay current with email design best practices, accessibility, and industry trends. 

Qualifications

 Required Skills & Qualifications 

1-2 years of experience in email or digital design, preferably in an agency or client-facing environment. 

Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email (Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar tools a plus). 

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Figma. 

Strong attention to detail and adherence to brand/client guidelines. 

Basic understanding of CRM platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Braze, etc.). 

Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-based environment. 

Understanding of responsive and accessible email design practices. 

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience working with or for financial services clients. 

Familiarity with A/B testing, personalization, or dynamic content strategies. 

Exposure to marketing automation and customer segmentation. 

Basic understanding of privacy/compliance standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).

Compensation Range: $53,200.00 - $77,280.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
