What You Will Do: Retensa's Technology Interns will work in a fast-paced and forward-thinking environment to assist in the design, architecture, and deployment of AI Software as a Service applications, new websites and mobile application programs. While gaining true hands-on experience, you will engage in real-world cross-functional AI technologies from the ground up. In addition, the internship provides insight on innovative solutions to help us respond to accelerate sprint velocity.
The internship is for focused individuals with previous software skills. If you desire real-world experience to expand your knowledge and develop your career in a short period of time, we welcome your application.
What You Are: Candidates should be hard working, enthusiastic, and resourceful Seniors or Graduate students in CS, CIS, Web Tech, IT, or MIS. Candidates must have experience in any THREE of the following:
1. AI Assisted Development 2. Web App development 3. Application Testing/QA 4. Amazon Cloud (AWS) 5. Agile PM (JIRA) 6. SaaS Product Support 7. Interactive Voice Agents 8. HTML, CSS JavaScript
Required: Strict Minimum 3.0 GPA. Prior web technology skills of any kind are required. Automation testing experience is preferred.
The applicant is proficient in English and possess good written and verbal communication skills. This person should be a strong team player with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
  • Support Product Specialists on R&D research and feature requirement gathering
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitive products
  • Provide testing support in staging and production environments
  • Engage with software users by providing customer support
  • Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA, to ensure product shipped meets expectations

Time/Compensation: 24-32 Hours per week, 3-4 Days per week (part-time). A stipend of $500-$1000 will be provided upon completion of the internship.
Location: Remote, EST +/- 3 hours
