Position: Leadership Trainer (Training Consultant)

Duration: Part-Time / Freelance

Location: Kentucky, US


Key accountabilities:

· Provides senior level facilitation support to Our client business leaders and stakeholders

· Facilitates senior and executive level programmes, identifies the most appropriate delivery approach and activities to meet the learning needs of the audience and programme

· Selects and supports the delivery of leading-edge learning considerations and other techniques in classroom settings

· Actively identifies new, innovative ways of building skills in the programme delivery i.e. through the introduction of tools, technology, media, exercises to encourage learning

· Actively develops business relationships to bring leading edge thinking to programmes


Experience

· A minimum of 15+ years direct experience in senior to executive level facilitation

· High awareness of emerging learning trends, adult learning trends, innovation, best practices and technologies in Learning and Development and incorporating this knowledge into their facilitation style

· Proven ability to think on your feet and improvise in facilitating conversations with senior stakeholder audiences, acting with confidence and integrity

· Deep expertise and experience in facilitating workshops with senior audiences and managing the challenge and associated critical thinking that comes with this level of audience

· Experience in facilitating solutions to address complex business issues in a client centric organisation

· An understanding of global matrix organisations and the importance of understanding the context within which they operate

· Able to facilitate change effectively in classroom settings and within a group

· A strong and self-confident leadership and influencing style, being able to make an immediate impact with a senior audience

· Demonstrable track record in facilitating and communicating skills with senior audiences managing differences of opinions in workshop discussions, listening, responding with empathy and summarising key learnings, building on the inputs of participants

· Ability to inspire confidence in delivery with a strong collaborative mind set

· Strong business/commercial awareness, understanding the broader context and external trends

· Has experience in facilitating and de briefing business simulations

· Flexible approach to facilitation, adapting as you go and, in the moment, depending on where the group discussion is going
