Job Posting:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing tops styles - sketching, coming up with ideas, details, new silhouettes

  • Selecting new fabric for tops

  • Pulling pattern inspiration for plaids

  • Assorting the plaids/patterns into the shirt styles

  • Assorting color into styles

  • Sketching hand off pages/ detail call outs

  • Meeting with tech - walking them through the detail callouts

  • Lab dips color comments, h/l comments, wash panel comments - entering comments into charts

  • Power point files for Milestone meeting presentations (creating our "line sheets")

  • Pinning boards for comp review

  • Trim development - buttons, labels, embroideries, patches (adobe illustrator)

  • Organizing samples & racks

  • Need to have an "eye for color", experience building collections, experience with prints and plaids.

  • Educational/Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in fashion or apparel design

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

  • This person will be required to be onsite at our HQ in Greensboro, NC.

  • This position will be a part-time freelance role at 20 hours a week.
