Position and Responsibilities Overview

The ideal Report Developer candidate will have experience in designing and implementing solutions utilizing expert knowledge in PowerBI and SQL Azure. The Report Developer Seeks to understand requirements through strong business and technical consulting skills and is proficient in creating and implementing proven solutions that solve business challenges. The Report Developer will work to implement data-driven solutions and is passionate about total end user satisfaction. The Report Developer is interested in learning about current news, system information, problems, changes, and updates relevant to the partner and IT communities.   • Support RK by working with project and internal stakeholders (business analysts, developers, other architects), defining requirements, designing, and implementing standard or custom solutions and delivering engagements that are innovative and exceed business requirements.
  • Design, develop and maintain data platform solutions to support reporting and analytics
  • Follow the team's methodology, processes, and standards to ensure the solution is of the highest quality while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team.
  • Meet with stakeholders to assist in determining needs and/or identify problem areas.
  • Develop complete technology solutions for current and future service offerings, collaborating with senior architects while considering all aspects of business and technical requirements, sizing, infrastructure, data protection, security, and recovery items.
  • Create relevant technical documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and enhance deliverables.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Stay abreast of technology and industry changes, especially in the areas of Cloud and Data Analytics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or 5 years of proven field experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience advising on, managing, and successfully delivering technical solutions.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Power BI (Power Query, Data Management Gateway, SSAS Tabular Connector) is required.
  • 3+ years' experience in industry working as a data engineer related to data integration, data modeling, analytics, and reporting and/or Azure or AWS cloud solutions.
  • 2+ years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server environment using SQL, T-SQL stored procedures, T-SQL functions or a Postgres environment using PostgresSQL and PL/pgSQL Coding Languages
  • 2+ years' experience advising on, managing, and successfully delivering data solutions.
  • Experience in at least one Data Modeling (e.g., Enterprise Data Warehouses, Star Schemas, etc.)
