Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior ASIC Test Technician to support new product introduction (NPI), silicon bring-up, validation, and characterization. This is a highly hands-on role working closely with Test Engineering, Product Engineering, and Design teams.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with ATE test systems, semiconductor test programs, bench characterization, test equipment, and hardware/debug.

Responsibilities

  • Support ASIC silicon bring-up, validation, and characterization at bench and ATE.
  • Set up and debug ATE test systems, load boards, sockets, fixtures, and cabling.
  • Execute and troubleshoot ATE test programs and assist Test Engineers with program debug.
  • Perform bench measurements using power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, SMUs, electronic loads, and other laboratory equipment.
  • Troubleshoot DUT, test hardware, instrumentation, and test-program issues.
  • Support characterization across voltage, frequency, temperature, and other operating conditions.
  • Collect, analyze, and document characterization and test data.
  • Perform test equipment calibration, verification, and maintenance.
  • Support NPI activities from initial silicon bring-up through product qualification and production test.
  • Work closely with Test, Product, Design, and Applications Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor test, product engineering, or test engineering.
  • Experience with ATE systems such as Advantest V93K, Teradyne uFlex & J750, and semiconductor test programs.

  • Strong experience with executing bench-test.
  • Proficient with laboratory equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, etc.
  • Strong hardware troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read schematics, test specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Excellent hands-on skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with load boards, DUT interfaces, sockets/contactors, and ATE hardware

Salary Range: $130,000 - $250,000 / year
