We are currently hiring RPSGTs to add to our team. Candidates applying for this position must be able to work approximately 10-hour shifts, with up to three patients. Looking for techs willing to work part-time (at least one night per week) or full-time (at least 12 shifts per month). Nights needing coverage include Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The Focus Sleep Centers RPSGT is responsible for the following laboratory operations:

· Perform all types of sleep disorder testing, including set-up and performance of nocturnal polysomnograms (PSGs) on most age groups, primarily adults, but we do perform occasional pediatric studies for ages 13 and up.

· Must demonstrate working knowledge of polysomnography, Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), oximetry and administration of supplemental O2, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP and/or Bilevel) studies, and the basics of Sleep Medicine

· Able to take patient vital signs accurately & recognize cardiac arrhythmias

· Ability to perform all duties as a Sleep Technician/Technologist in accordance with AASM, & Focus Sleep Centers Quality guidelines

Qualifications

  • Active RPSGT credential (verified through the BRPT)
  • Current Tennessee Polysomnography License
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with providers, staff, night technologists, and patients
  • Must maintain CEC/CEU requirements for certification and AASM Sleep Center Accreditation
