Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary:

Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a premier long-term care and rehabilitation facility, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day nursing activities and providing exceptional care to our patients/residents. Responsibilities:

  • Direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines

  • Assist in planning the nursing services portion of the residents’ discharge plans as required

  • Complete accident/incident reports as necessary

  • Chart nurses’ notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the residents, as well as the residents’ responses to the care

  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and as required by center policy

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current and valid RN license in the state employed

  • Long-term care/post-acute care setting preferred

  • Completion of post-secondary education

  • Capable of maintaining regular attendance (i.e., weekend shifts and overtime) as required
