Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Gastroenterologist, you will integrate into a well-established practice delivering essential general gastroenterology services to our welcoming, family-focused community in Roseburg, Oregon. Our practice has a strong local referral network, supported by a robust reputation among community physicians and patients. Our experienced staff, both clinical and surgical, are dedicated to ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience for physicians and patients.


Every day you will be instrumental in delivering compassionate and expert GI care at CHI Mercy Health and Centennial Gastroenterology. You will apply your specialized expertise, working closely with clinical and surgical colleagues to ensure exemplary experiences for both patients and physicians. Beyond routine duties, you'll have the option to perform ERCP and play a key role in elevating our thriving GI practice and patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you must be a compassionate, skilled BC/BE gastroenterologist possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities. You must also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive in a collegial, supportive environment.

Job Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or board eligible in Gastroenterology from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
  • Oregon medical license and DEA certificate
  • Specialty training at an ACGME accredited facility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
