Job description

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Springfield, OR as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when required, and operate CT equipment to provide diagnostic imaging for inpatients and outpatients. The role requires proficiency in routine CT procedures, sterile/surgical imaging practices, and cross-sectional anatomy.
Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years CT technologist experience required. Prior travel experience required; local candidates will not be accepted.
  • Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) CT or RT certification.
  • State licensure as a general radiographer for Oregon.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience performing CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and CT-guided biopsy/drainage procedures.
  • Knowledge of CT system processing, contrast media administration, and sterile technique for imaging procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm imaging, and OR imaging services.
  • Previous travel assignments at acute care hospitals.

Assignment Details
  • Hours will primarily be mid-shift with a typical 12:00 noon start time, though hours may vary.
  • 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
  • Call required.
  • Routine weekend shifts will be scheduled.
