Job description

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
  • Active Oregon Occupational Therapy License is required to start the position
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
  • Hand therapy experience preferred. Employer will train OTs with limited hand experience
  • Demonstrated splinting skills preferred
  • BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC

Practice & Setting
  • Privately owned, surgeon-led hand and orthopedic practice
  • All patients are internal referrals from surgeons
  • Collaborative, team-based environment working closely with surgeons
  • Outpatient clinic setting with six treatment tables
  • Electronic Medical Record: EPIC

Caseload & Schedule
  • Typical caseload: one patient per hour, approximately 12 patients per day
  • No routine double booking; rare exceptions only
  • Flexible Monday-Friday schedules. Common options include four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts
