This position is entirely remote, allowing flexibility while maintaining the highest standards of care through telehealth platforms. As an LPC at Mountain Springs, you will leverage technology to connect with clients and facilitate therapeutic sessions, ensuring their mental health needs are met efficiently and effectively. The Licensed Professional Counselor will perform a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, then making evidence-based recommendations to primary care providers.
• Providing brief, solution-focused interventions for patients needing immediate mental health support.
• Collaborating with primary care providers to identify patients who would benefit from further mental health resources or specialty care.
• Implementing and monitoring relapse prevention plans as necessary to help maintain patient stability.
• Documenting patient progress and clinical information meticulously in the treatment charts to ensure continuity of care.
• Providing ongoing follow-up with patients to monitor their progress and make adjustments to their treatment plans as needed.
• Assisting patients in adhering to medical treatments recommended by their primary care provider, including strategies to manage medication side effects.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest practices in mental health counseling and ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and standards as outlined in the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.
• Carrying out additional duties as assigned to support our team's objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.

• Familiarity with the DSM-IV diagnostic criteria and behavioral therapies.
• Ability to assess patient needs comprehensively and cultivate effective treatment plans.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience may find themselves better positioned for success in this role:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, enhancing communication with a broader client base.
• Experience working in a telehealth environment, utilizing digital platforms for therapy.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $87,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
