Job description


SAIC is hiring for an Enterprise Project Manager (PM) to join a Program Management Office (PMO) team supporting a major state & local government customer. The PM has primary responsibility for managing projects and will be responsible for:
Establishing and defining project plan requirements.
-Developing schedules and budgets to meet contractual/project requirements
-Monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
-Reporting on program level schedule & quality adherence to agreed upon standards
dentifying and resolving project risks and issues; developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
-Maintaining compliance with Commonwealth of Virginia standard policies, procedures, standards.
-Using and applying industry best practices, techniques, and standards in project management.
Qualifications
Role requirements and Qualifications:
-Demonstrated experience managing projects and project scheduling. Experience with state & local government customers is a strong plus.
-Must be a US Citizen
-Prior experience working in or supporting a PMO
-Significant experience in supervising Project Analysts, supporting project scheduling and managing projects
-Significant experience developing risk management and mitigation planning
-Significant experience supporting project scheduling and managing projects
-Prior experience in Supplier Management
-Experience working in ITSM
-Prior experience working with ServiceNow
-Prior experience developing OLAs, Governance, Policy, and Procedures.
-Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more of related experience.
-PMP Certification Required
-ITIL Certification Preferred
-CSM Certification Preferred
-Proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Visio, SharePoint, and Adobe Products.
-Proficient with MS Project Professional or Standard; MS Project Online preferred.
-Prior experience working with ServiceNow project scheduling function preferred.
-Prior experience working with or for a Commonwealth of VA Agency or VITA desired.
